Day 27, 28, and 29: Venice and Travel days
The last day in Venice I went to the beach with Cesar and a whole bunch of kids. It was a pretty weird idea since I had never heard of a beach at Venice, but it is this island that is not far from Venice called Lido. So first off we were deciding what to do when we already took the train to Venice. When we finally decided to go tot he beach we had to take a water bus for around 30 minutes to get there. We actually went out on sort of open waters so it was pretty intense, I did not get sea sick at all though. Once we got there I had to buy a bathing suit since I had left mine at the hotel. I got a blue one, it is really cute. The beach had brown sand instead of white, so it was incredibly hot. It burned my feet pretty bad. I didn't go in the water though, since we had a concert to go to that night and I didn't think we would have time to go to the hotel. It was nice to just be at the beach though. Everyone was drinking and falling around the water, I seriously don't know how someone didn't drown. Cesar and I split a bottle of champagne at a restaurant on the beach. It was pretty good. Everyone got extremely sunburned it was horrible. I didn't, since I put on sunscreen. After walking on the beach for a while we decided to head back to get washed up before the concert. Cesar, Anarudh, Ryan, Rob, Russel, and I went on a water bus. Everyone but Ryan fell asleep, I accidently fell asleep on Ryan. haha Cesar drooled all over himself and Rob fell asleep on a stranger. Anirudh was too wasted and I thought he was going to throw up on the boat. Good thing we finally got to our stop. We took the train home and got washed up for our concert. A lot of people got in trouble for being drunk at the concert. It was not the best concert we have gone too, I don't really like Vivaldi. After the concert it was really late and there were only a couple of gondolas still running and Cesar really wanted to go on one, but the guy was charging 100 euro, so I told him it wasn't worth it. We just went home. The next day we rode to Salzburg, France for an in between place before Brugge. I ate at an Indian food restaurant. It was really good. The next day we rode to Brugge and I did my paper for the concert. The welcome dinner was OK, it was a weird soupy lasagna. Afterwards I went to Cesar's room where a whole bunch of guys were and played ring of fire until we went out. We went to these bars by the tower that was in the movie In Brugge. It was pretty crazy this one place was packed full and everyone was dancing on everyone. It was pretty fun. Once it got late Ryan, Rob, Cesar, and I walked home at like 1:30 in the morning. Cesar and I hung out for a while before going to bed.
