Day 34-37: 1st week at Oxford

Well the first week of classes was pretty much the same as if I were at Georgia Tech. The teachers are from Tech and the classes are major specific. My Government of the US and UK teacher is an older gentleman and the class is pretty boring. I am not interested in politics of any sort and really have no input most of the time. Hopefully that will change in the coming weeks, if not this will be a difficult situation. My statics teacher is HORRIBLE, he has taught us nothing and instead has gone off on tangents on every other subject BUT statics. This class is going to be incredibly frustrating and I am unsure of how it will turn out since I have to take the follow up next semester. Besides the classes, on the first day of classes, or the Fourth of July, I went to the pub on campus and met up with Cesar and his brother with all of his friends. It was pretty fun we drank some beers and hung out. We then proceeded to venture off campus, with Cesar wearing an American flag as basically a cape, to a club. I couldn't get in because I didn't take my passport as a form of ID since I didn't want to lose it. Also Cesar's brother was too young. We proceeded to walk Cesar's brother home and happened to run into his parents. They were nice enough. The next day after dinner I ended up going with Cesar and his friends to grab a drink with his parents. His mom was really interested in the Casey Anthony case. I had to do homework though so I left. Later on in the night Cesar came over and brought me this stuffed monkey that he bought me. It was cute. The next day after class I just did work and got ready for going to Dublin. I was ready for the trip, or so I thought.
