Day 12: Prague

Well today Jamie and I slept in. It was pretty hard to do since I kept waking up with a stuffy nose. After we woke up we started to head towards the Powder Tower for our walking tour. Jamie, Becca, Billy, Rachel, and I went to this swanky Japanese restaurant to blow some crowns. It was pretty nice. I ended up getting most of my crowns back in euros since some of them ran out of crowns and I paid, in turn they paid me in euros. So everything worked out. Jamie and I got to the Powder Tower before everyone else, so we took some pictures. The walking tour went all over. We went to old town, the astrological clock, and Charles bridge. We got to see the clock go off. I got a video, but it wasn't very good. I have spent most of my money on ice cream in Europe, I swear it is so good and so convenient. After the tour Jamie and I got lost trying to find our way back to the hotel. We finally made it back and I changed into dressier clothes for the Opera. Jamie and I ate some dinner before though, I had a really good mushroom soup. =] We went and saw the Opera Aida. It was 3 hours long! I am just not that into operas I guess. I couldn't understand them. I have to write a paper on it later though. We will get back to that. After the opera, we went to a cafe and grabbed some desert and coffee. I had a tiramisu crepe. On the way back to our hotel, Cesar and his friends told us to go out with them. We started walking around to all this clubs and bars. They were kind of pricey. We went into this strip club for free for a second. haha It was pretty funny, nothing cool was happening though. It was just some girl sitting on a stage naked really. I wanted to see some dart throwing or cigarette smoking from her lady parts. haha On our way to the beer club or something we lost Jamie. She was walking really slow. She ended up going back to the hotel. Finally we went to a convenience store and grabbed some cheap beers and liquor and headed back to the hotel. We went into one of the guys rooms and played some game with coins and trying to hit a target. It was difficult but I only drank a beer, because beers are gross. Now it is late and I need to sleep before my drive to Munich tomorrow.
