Day 7: Vienna, Austria

Today we went to the Secession building and looked at the Beethoven frieze. We couldn't take pictures but it looked kind of creepy. Then we went to Karlskirche which is a church that is a church dedicated to St. Charles. It was pretty impressive. Afterwards we went to the Gothic church Stephansdom. We got to go inside of it and heard a part of the mass being performed. When we left we were going to the train station when we saw some women pass out and hit her head at the top of the escalator when we were about to go down. A bunch of guys tried to life her out of the way and they had to stop the escalator. Her face was bleeding and she wasn't moving. The police came and then they took her away. It was pretty scary. We finally got on the train and went to eat at a sandwich shop. I got a spinach and feta pastry and a sweet cheese and raisin filled pastry. It was really good. We looked around for a bag for Becca and watches for Jamie and I, since mine broke after going into the pool even though it said it was waterproof. After being unsuccessful we met our group at the Kunsthistorisches museum. We looked at some paintings by Caravaggio, Rubens, and a couple other artists. The museum was the first place built to be an actual museum, all the others before were made into museums later. Afterwards Jamie and I went to eat dinner at an Italian restaurant and ate pizza, it was really good with lots of vegetables. We were there for 2 hours though because the waiter took forever to get to us and then he never came back. Jamie finally went up and gave him the money. I think we were supposed to just leave it though. Haha it was a really cute small restaurant though. I am glad that we went. Jamie went back to the room but I went with Becca and Billy to look at the outside of some other Gothic church. It was getting stormy, so the church looked really creepy. It started to rain so we went back the hotel. Cesar asked if I would watch Harry Potter with him, but I am pretty tired. I don't know if I will.
